Cliff has produced his sculptures over many years, and is a familiar figure at the School of Art.
The BBC will spend two days at the School of Art buildings, filming various elements of the programme, which will also involve local schoolchildren.
Lichfield School of Art is part of Tamworth & Lichfield College and at its most recent Ofsted Inspection, was awarded a rare Grade 1 ranking of 'outstanding'.
Head of Lichfield School of Art Alison Churchill said, "It's fantastic that the BBC will be filming Cliff, who is a talented and very well respected figure around the School, and we also look forward to welcoming local children to take part in this unusual and exciting event."
