Laughter loving youngsters can keep the boredom at bay this summer thanks to a fun packed programme of activities set to be held at Chasewater Innovation Centre.
An array of entertaining events have been planned to keep children happy throughout the holiday.
The series of workshops will kick off with Olympic Mania on Tuesday 22nd and Wednesday 23rd of July. Children will be kept on their toes by playing games with a sports theme while those who are feeling particularly energetic can try out the mini Olympic sports circuit.
Young people can have a taste of the seaside on Tuesday 29th and Wednesday 30th July when a beach party will be held at the Pool Road centre in Brownhills. Visitors can don their flip flops, shorts and t shirts for a fun filled day of beach games and summer themed art and craft activities.
A crazy carnival event will take place on Tuesday 5th and Wednesday 6th August when children can make flamboyant costumes, complete with animal masks and headdresses. The young artists will be able to showcase their efforts during a parade around the park at 2pm.
Furry friends are invited to join in the fun on Tuesday 12th and Wednesday 13th of August when a teddy bears picnic will take place. On the Wednesday there will be story time followed by a bear hunt at 1pm.
The Big Box Children's Workshop Team will host all of the activities which cost £3 and will take place from 11am to 3pm. Children of all ages are welcome to attend.
