Starring Jane Rossington
Jane Rossington, who played Jill Richards in Crossroads, heads the cast in this stunning new production of the classic Hans Christian Andersen story. The play takes you to a winter wonderland - but there's a twist in the tale.
The Snow Queen captures Kay, a young orphan, and takes him away to her ice palace. But she didn't bargain for his fearless sister, Gerda, who sets out to rescue him. On Gerda's adventure she meets the Tsar of Russia, Princess Popishka, the funny robbers and a host of colourful animal characters, including cuddly Mossy the Reindeer.
But, just who is the Snow Queen and why is her heart so cold? Is she really planning to rule the world in a new ice age?
This captivating production will enchant children of all ages and is beautifully designed and staged.
