5th June - Lichfield's Private Landlords' Forum

Set to meet in the Committee Room at District Council House on Thursday 5 June from 10am to 12.30pm
Lichfield District Council once again invites private sector landlords from across the district to come to Lichfield's Private Landlords' Forum.
As well as the chance to meet other private landlords, the forum will also discuss a range of issues that affect landlords.
The first item on the agenda will be a promotion by Sean Kearns of netrent.co.uk, which is an online service which offers landlords free property adverts, an online landlords' forum, and discounts on products and insurance. They also organise tax seminars in partnership with local authorities.
Floating Support, the scheme which helps vulnerable people manage their tenancies, will then be explained by Cornerstone. A local independent mortgage specialist will also be on hand to discuss buying to let in the current market.
Finally, the benefits of getting Midland landlord accreditation will be explained, and there will be an update on the local deposit bond scheme.
Helen Spearey, Strategic Director of Community, Housing and Health, said: "If you're a landlord with properties in the district this forum will prove an invaluable source of information. We hope lots of landlords come along, as we're keen to work with them to make sure our residents are happy and safe in their homes."
The Forum is taking place in the Committee Room at District Council House, Frog Lane, Lichfield on 5 June from 10am to 12.30pm. It will be followed by a buffet lunch where attendees can network with fellow local landlords.
