This stunning show will recreate and celebrate the music of The Carpenters.
Following last season's sell out performance, the Lichfield Garrick is delighted to welcome back Voice of the Heart.
The evening is guaranteed to lead Carpenters fans everywhere through a magical memory. With superb vocals from Carole Gordon and outstanding talent from the brilliant Blue Jeans Band, Singers & Dancers, this will be a sparkling night to remember.
The programme will include ‘Yesterday Once More', ‘Goodbye To Love', ‘Close To You', ‘Only Yesterday'. Plus great medleys put together from the many album tracks, from The Beatles' ‘Mr Postman', ‘Ticket To Ride' and ‘Help', to a superb Bacharach and David medley featuring renditions of ‘Do You Know The Way To San Jose' and ‘Always Something There To Remind Me'.
A Carpenters country medley with ‘Top Of The World', ‘Sweet Sweet Smile' and ‘Jambalaya' will be in great contrast to the sad and perhaps most popular songs on Karen's last and most poignant album, Voice Of The Heart.
