Voting help
Polling stations are open from 7am to 10pm on Thursday 3 May. If you are on the electoral register you should be sent a polling card telling you where to vote. You do not need this card to vote, but it does contain useful information.
To find out which ward you live in and who are your existing local councillors click here and enter your complete postcode.
If you were not already on the list of electors, you need to have registered by 18 April. If you can't get to the polling station in person, you can also register for a postal vote or a proxy vote. The Electoral Commission website will help you do this - even download the necessary forms. The Commission has set up a website http://www.aboutmyvote.co.uk this links to details of which elections are taking place across the UK.
If you have any other questions about voting, you can also contact the electoral registration officer for this area on 01543 308125 or email elections@lichfielddc.gov.uk
