POLICE APPEAL FOLLOWING CAR JACKING

DETECTIVES are hunting two men who attacked a driver and hi-jacked his car on the outskirts of Lichfield.
The incident happened at around 6.30pm last night (Mon) on the A5 at Muckley Corner as the 30 year old man was driving home.
As he queued in traffic, his red Seat Leon Cupra car was bumped from the rear by a sliver/green coloured car. As he got out to look for any damage, he was struck on the shoulder and fell to the ground. He was shocked but not seriously hurt.
The attacker then jumped into his vehicle and sped off. An accomplice, in the silver/green car, also drove away.
The two offenders are said to be Asian. One was aged around 20, about 5ft 9ins tall, of slight build with dark short hair and wearing a tracksuit.
His accomplice was around 6ft tall and also wearing a track suit.
The victim's car was later recovered in the Lozells area of Birmingham.
