A46 Alcester to Stratford
From 28 August 2007, between Shottery Island near Stratford upon Avon and A46 / A435 junction at Billesley, Alcester - temporary vehicle impact protection barriers will be installed along the kerb line of the westbound carriageway with lanes restricted in width.
VEHICLES OVER 2.0M (6'6") IN WIDTH ARE BANNED FROM TRAVELLING THROUGH THIS SECTION.
A SIGNED DIVERSION ROUTE IS CLEARLY SIGNPOSTED.
A 40MPH SPEED RESTRICTION AND OVERTAKING BAN IS IN PLACE.
M6 Junction 8 (Ray Hall)
The link road from M6 southbound to M5 southbound at M6 junction 8 will be closed overnight from 9.00pm to 5.00am from Monday 17 September 2007 to Saturday 22 September 2007 as part of the on-going Structural Maintenance contract. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A5 Wolfshead to West Felton
The A5 will be closed between Woflshead, near Nesscliffe, and West Felton overnight from 8.00pm to 6.00am from Monday 17 September 2007 to Thursday 20 September 2007 for carriageway repairs. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A5 Preston Island to Emstrey Island
The A5 will be closed overnight in both directions from 8.00pm to 6.00am from Monday 17 September 2007 to Saturday 22 September 2007 for carriageway repairs. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M6 Junction 4 (Coleshill)
The northbound entry slip road will be closed overnight from 9.00pm to 5.00am from Monday 17 September 2007 to Wednesday 19 September 2007 for the renewal of road markings. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M42 Junction 7 (M42 north to M6 north link road)
The link road from M42 north to M6 north at M42 junction 7 will be closed overnight from 9.00pm to 5.00am from Monday 17 September 2007 to Wednesday 19 September 2007 for the renewal of road markings. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M42 Junction 8 (M42 south to M6 North link road)
The link road from M42 south to M6 north at M42 junction 8 will be closed overnight from 9.00pm to 5.00am from Wednesday 19 September 2007 to Friday 21 September 2007 for the renewal of road markings. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M5 Junction 4a (M42 south to M5 north link road)
The link road from the M42 south to the M5 north at M5 junction 4a will be closed overnight from 9.00pm to 5.00am from Monday 17 September 2007 to Wednesday 19 September 2007 for carriageway resurfacing and the installation of traffic sensors. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M42 Junction 1 (Lickey End)
The northbound entry slip road at junction 1 will be closed overnight from 9.00pm to 5.00am from Wednesday 19 September 2007 to Saturday 22 September 2007 for carriageway resurfacing and the installation of traffic sensors. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A49 Church Stretton to Craven Arms
The A49 carriageway will be closed overnight (except Sundays) from 9.00pm to 6.00am from Monday 17 September 2007 to Sunday 21 October 2007 for major maintenance scheme. Works will include resurfacing the carriageway, renewal of road studs and markings, some kerbing and drainage work. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
