Jungle Club Out of School Club, Whittington
Jungle Club Out of School Club in Whittington was one of the first out of school clubs in Staffordshire. It was started in 1991 by Mary Cooke, Brenda Stewart-Jones, Paulette Tyler and Jackie Found and is still run by them today. The Jungle Club motto 'Quality Childcare at an Affordable Price' has always been the basis of the club management. The club has grown over the past sixteen years - it now employs four staff in addition to the four founder members, who are all still actively involved on a day-to-day basis.
The Club is registered with Ofsted to provide out of school care for 40 children. Jungle Club operates in the school Hall at Whittington Primary School and is open from 7.30am to 8.40am and 3.15pm to 5.45pm every school day.
For lots more information and to see their last Ofsted report - Jungle Club was classed as 'GOOD' - log on to their website http://www.jungleclub.org.uk/
