RESIDENTS in Lichfield's Boley Park area are being urged to take up an invitation to find out more about policing operations and community issues.
A public meeting of the Police Authority Consultative Committee (PACC) for Lichfield, is being held on Monday 7 July at St Michael's Church Hall, starting at 7pm.
The meeting is a chance for residents to ask NPU Commander, Inspector Jon Staite, questions about the way the area is policed.
Police officers, community support officers and a member of Staffordshire Police Authority will also give an update on recent developments.
Inspector Staite said: "This is an excellent opportunity for local people to find out and about policing in their community.
"I would encourage everyone who is interested in the community to attend the meeting. A representative of Staffordshire Police Authority will also be present to hear views.
"We are particularly keen to hear from people living in the Boley Park area about issues which may concern them," he added.
