Sponsor event description: Martin Watkins - three capital cities sponsor event
"I was, for well over 30 years, a railway employee "retired" in 1997. I kept all my travel entitlements. I have used these to raise money in the past for charity. Well I plan to do it again. On Monday 3rd of September I plan to visit all 3 UK mainland Capitals in 18 hours from Stafford. I shall leave Stafford at 06 36 for Edinburgh Then leave Edinburgh at 11 30 for London. Leave London at 16.45 for Cardiff. Returning to Stafford at 23.00. I will be inviting sponsorship. The plan is to invite sponsorship from the congregation of each Church in the Benefice. The money given to go to the particular Church it was offered from. I will approach shops firms etc that money to be divided equally. If it raises a few pounds it will help."
