Althorp Park is once again to play host to the annual Country Show over the weekend of 19 and 20 May 2012. The show, now in its third year, is looking even better than ever, with a whole host of fantastic family entertainment taking place throughout the weekend.
With something for everyone, from Horkesley Park's Heavy Horse Demonstration Team, The Knights of the Damned Jousting Team, birds of prey displays, The Goat Show featuring milking and cheese-making, Terrier Racing, Newfoundland Dogs, Agility Dogs, The Yanks and Limeys historical display team, The 44th Regiment of Foot, Totally Ponies, Totally Exotics, children's farm, ferrets, as well as children's Punch & Judy shows, and on Sunday the Companion Dog Show - so bring along a canine friend and have a go! (And all proceeds from entries will go to Marie Curie Cancer Care).
And if that's not all - as well as pole latheing there will also be other rural demonstration skills to enjoy including braiding, spinning and weaving, together with Cookery demonstrations and wine tasting throughout the weekend and you can sample and buy in our Arts, Crafts and Gifts marquees as well as Lifestyle and Food Stalls.
