Saturday 11 October
The next University Campus Suffolk (UCS) Open Day takes place this Saturday 11 October in the new Waterfront building at the Ipswich Campus from 11.00am - 4.00pm.
The Open Day will provide potential students with an opportunity to find out more about the courses available at the Ipswich Campus, speak to academics from various departments and attend talks on student life, and finance and budgeting, whilst also talking to current students.
There will be opportunities to visit the information stands in the ground floor exhibition area to discuss student finance and support, find out about the UCS Students' Union, and discuss the admissions process and student accommodation. As this is the first ever Open Day at the landmark Waterfront building, there will be a chance to explore the new lecture theatres, classrooms and the learning resource centre.

For students wishing to apply for 2009 entry, the application cycle began in September 2008 and the UCAS deadline is mid-January. This day will enable students to make an informed decision about applying to UCS and offer advice and guidance on the application process. The Open Day is particularly suitable for those students looking to study closer to home and who wish to remain in the local area.
Anyone interested in attending the Open Day can register online at http://www.ucs.ac.uk/, where a detailed programme of the day can also be found.
