 Weekend News

Well looks like the weather is holding through the weekend. There is a cracking game in store on Saturday at Friars Street. Reigning EAPL champions Swardstone are one of the best club sides in the UK.. I am sure the lads are up for it and looking to build on their positive display at Vauxhall Mallards. With some good support I am sure they get a first home win of the season. Should be a cracker it kicks off 11am Saturday.

A strange coincidence on saturday sees the 2nds and 3rds both away at Felixstowe on Saturday. Sunday sees the first Silverware to be settled this season with the Myles Radcliffe trophy to be played for at friars street. Macca also has a league game.

Also special mention to Dave Hinchcliffe. A Sudbury Legend who retires next week after a long distinguished carrer in teaching. We hope to see Dave down the club more in his retirement years. All the best Dave from the club.
