Sudbury Farmers' Markets was relaunched in May 2012 and is fast becoming one of the busiest town centre farmer markets in Suffolk. The market is held on the last Friday of each month in St Peters, Market Hill right in the centre of town and is the perfect place to stock up on all your food shopping. Sudbury Farmer's Market is a thriving, buzzing hub of activity with people queuing to buy John’s amazing vegetables even before the doors properly open!
Over thirty traders fill St Peter’s selling a fantastic range of the very best, fresh, local produce and a small selection of the highest quality, hand produced crafts.
Produce on offer each month includes the freshest fish from Maximus Sustainable Fishing, local venison from the Sufolk Venison Larder, pork from Kevin Blundell in Assington, beef from Cratfield, home baked cakes from Boxford, pies from the Farmers’ Wife, real ales from Two Rivers’ Brewery, freshly baked bread, jams and chutneys and an amazing selection of fresh vegetables from Brook Lynne Farm.
There is a wonderful café available which is run by the Sudbury based charity, The Bridge Project, they serves delicious scones, sandwiches and great coffee.
