Songtime are looking for the stars of the future for all parts, including
the lead role of Annie.
Throughout the two week course Songtime will cast and rehearse for five
performances of the musical at the Playhouse. Children will be immersed in a
professional working environment being taught by leading West End and
regional theatre artists, The students will learn vocal techniques, dance
and acting skills.
Songtime Theatre Arts is a professional company training young people in a
theatrical environment that leads the way in to the entertainment industry.
Songtime was first started in 1989 as a small association of talented young
people who wished to provide entertainment for their friends and family.
Cabaret evenings were well received and in 1991 Matthew Chandler, Principle
of Songtime, decided to expand the membership and produce a book musical.
Auditions advertised in the local press were met with great response; 500
children auditioned for the launch of the company with the hit Broadway
Musical 'Annie'.
Songtime are proud to return to their original production for this Summer
School Project 2008.
The fee for the two week summer school is £199. For more details please
