Blue Star welcomes FA Cup

The FA Cup as sponsored by E.on was in Kingston Park for one day only on Thursday 9th October and local team Newcastle Blue Star, who have been tipped as the non-league side to watch during the competition, were there to see it.
This Sunday Newcastle Blue Star, will be playing an FA Cup qualifying match at Newcastle Falcon's Kingston Park Stadium, and your support will help them continue an outstanding season. There's a Special Offer at the restaurant as well (see below)!
Local Uni-Bond football team Newcastle Blue Star went top of the league on Monday night after beating Harrogate Railway Athletic by a whopping five goals to nil! So far in the 2008/2009 campaign Blue Star have only been defeated once back in August, and since then they have won seven, and drawn two, plus racking up four cup wins. In thirteen games they have amassed an impressive thirty nine goals!
Blue Star have been playing their home matches at Kingston Park, home to Newcastle Falcons since the start of last season when Falcons chairman Dave Thompson acquired the lease for Blue Stars old home the Wheatsheaf ground, now called Druid Park. Dave Thompson has since turned Druid Park into the state of the art training facility, complete with 4g pitch and renovated clubhouse.
Newcastle Blue Star come up against Hucknall Town in the 3rd qualifying round of the FA Cup on Sunday 12th October, kick off 3pm.
Tickets are available to buy on the day of the game, plus a special offer of £8.99 Adult and £7.99 Concession which includes a match ticket and an all you can eat carvery dinner in Due Dieci the on-site restaurant prior to kick off.
