Live and Unsigned Auditions Rock and Roll Into North East !!

Auditions across the country for Live and Unsigned 2010 are about to begin !
Now in its third year, Live and Unsigned is the UK's biggest original music competition for bands, vocal groups and solo artists. Travelling across the nation, the competition searches for the ultimate and best UK unsigned act.
Each act will be asked to audition live in front of a judging panel - there are no demos or recordings! All genre's are encouraged to enter the competition including pop, rnb, punk, rock, acoustic and electronic. Those who make it through the audition stage will get to perform to industry judges, A&R associates and celebrity guests in some of the UK's most prestigious venues. And those who make it to the Grand Final will get to share the stage with some of the UK's best musicians at the Live and Unsigned Festival.
The competition's aim is to find potential recording artists, with the overall winner being offered a two year management and recording contract with the potential to release their single and tour the country. Live and Unsigned has seen over 30, 000 contestants grace its audition rooms for the last three years in succession, and this year it could be you!
Auditions will be coming to London, Sheffield, Manchester, Brighton, Newcastle, Glasgow, Ipswich, Cheltenham, Fareham, Bedford and Aldershot.
Last year's Winners
Last years winners were Glaswegian Rock band The Detours. Since winning the competition the band have enjoyed national media attention and are currently working on new material and preparing to record their debut video. They are also getting set to rock out on their UK tour next year !
Previous Winners
The 2008 competition was won by Kiddo 360 ( a hip-hop rock funk outfit from Swansea ). Winners in 2007 were B_Kay & Kazz - two brothers originating from Southern Africa, but now based in Milton Keynes.

Auditions begin in January 2010. Acts are now being urged to enter as places are in high demand and auditions are limited.
