Peter Jones Enterprise Academy Comes To Warwickshire College
Business moguls are a rare breed - driven, passionate, innovative - and Warwickshire College is on the lookout for the entrepreneurs of the future to join an exciting, exclusive new course being run in association with the Peter Jones Enterprise Academy.
We can't guarantee to transform you into a future multimillionare - you'll need to be a special kind of person for that already - but if you've got the vision, ambition and daring to succeed we can give you all the skills you need to get to the top.
Warwickshire College has been cherry picked by the Dragon's Den TV personality and multimillionaire businessman, Peter Jones to help find and train Britain's next generation of entrepreneurs.
The college, one of the largest training providers in the Midlands, is one of just a handful of educational institutions across the country chosen to join the Peter Jones Enterprise Academy and offer a bespoke qualification in Enterprise and Entrepreneurship.
Starting in September, the course will teach students how to start their own business. There will be visiting lecturers and masterclasses from successful entrepreneurs and the students will also be involved in a number of practical workshops and real business networking events.
The Rugby-based course will be no easy ride - it's 9 to 5, five days a week - but students will be provided with their own laptop and the start of the course and benefit from the first-class business and conferencing facilities the college's new Rugby site offers.
Jenny Hobbs, Business Enterprise Manager at Warwickshire College, said: "This course isn't for the faint hearted, we're looking for really special candidates who may already have the germ of a good business idea before they even start in September.
"If you can offer the passion and drive to get ahead, in return Warwickshire College can offer you first class training, facilities and support. Our enviable new Rugby centre offers everything a start-up business needs to succeed, with conferencing and video conferencing facilities, boardrooms and office and exhibition space which will all be available for students' use.
"This is the first time that anything like this has been offered in the Warwickshire area - why not fuel your business dreams with a bit of help from us?"
Potential students will be able to find out more about the new course at the college's April open event.
This event is being held at the college's Rugby centre on Wednesday 25 April also from 5.30pm to 8pm.
For more information on the course call 01788 863039.
