Mike Leddy
| Published: 27th September 2007 10:19 |
One of three councillors representing Brandwood Ward
(There are two Conservative and one Labour)
Labour's Mike Leddy was elected in September 2007, following the death of the previous Conservative councillor Ken Hardeman. It was quite a significant win with a swing of about 11 percent in his favour.
Mike is an experienced councillor, having been a Cabinet member in the former Labour adminstration and a ward councillor for Perry Barr for eight years before losing his seat to the Lib Dems in 2003. He has since been working closely with Labour MP Steve McCabe on local issues in Brandwood.
Because he was elected at a by-election to fill a vacancy, his term of office will expire in May 2010.
