David Cameron grilled in the Kitchen

Conservative Party Leader David Cameron was described as a ‘light green' after lunch at an organic café in Birmingham.
While Gordon Brown was holding his Cabinet meeting at the ICC in the city centre, the man who hopes to be a future Prime Minister paid a closely guarded visit to Kings Heath.
He was grilled for the BBC by Moseley woman Tracey Fletcher, co-owner of the Kitchen Garden Café in York Road.
In an interview to be screened by Panorama alongside the Tory Party Conference in Birmingham later this month, David Cameron discussed nuclear power, GM foods, the cost of public transport and the tax on air fuel.
"I asked him what he could do to help people become more sustainable," said Tracey when the cameras had stopped rolling.
"He gave some quite good answers. He seemed very well-prepared for those sort of questions," she said - admitting that she could have been tougher in the interview. "He did seem genuinely into environmental issues though. I would describe him as ‘light green'."
The one area where the Conservative leader seemed less sure of himself was when he was quizzed on how difficult it might be to get the party behind him on environmental action.
"I let him get off a bit lightly on that one. I'm not like Jeremy Paxman," Tracey added.
After the interview the former Birmingham Friends of the Earth chair wouldn't declare whether or not she would be voting for Cameron.
"I will be voting for whoever convinces me they have the courage to push through policies for the UK to meet its 2050 emissions target. That person must be prepared to tell people things they don't want to hear - and David Cameron? Well, perhaps he's a bit too nice."
