Did not see the incident but was effected due to redirection of the 50`s buses which we were on ! Reminds me of a loss of life accident about 10 months ago further the Maypole area. This road is not designed for such heavy traffic, especially the large trucks that use it. Although we did not see the incident we did see the large truck that was involved. Too big for the roads in Kings Heath or indeed most of the way into town ! Redirect such traffic along Pershore Road or Bristol road - though that too involves built up areas.
Is this to be just an accepted risk ?

I didn't see this terrible accident, but I sat on the bus with a lady who had and was badly affected by what she had seen. I went to the Post Office the following day and stood outside overcome with tears at what had happened there the day before. My heart goes out to the family and friends of the poor man who died.
