OUTSIDE Art - The biggest garden sculpture exhibition of 2008
Russells Nursery, Baginton 10.30 - 5pm
Set against a backdrop of a series of beautiful gardens, artists will display their work in a variety of mediums including metal, wood, glass, ceramic, wire and stone and covers both abstract and naturalistic pieces. Over thirty artists are participating in this event, including international glass sculptor Neil Wilkin, award winning artist Natasha Webb, and Chelsea collaborator Julieann Worrall Hood, who will be exhibiting over 100 pieces of work.
Local artists include Louise Bandy, Roger Brown who trained under George Wagstaff, Tim Threlfall ( former head of design at Coventry University) Brenda Wood - a stone sculptor and Karen Bull who works in stained glass. Many sculptors will have stalls with further examples of their work.
The exhibition will take place both in:
• Russells 6 acre quarry garden
• New courtyard gardens - our own mini "Chelsea"
• Amazing Maze - a delight for children
• Pool gardens
• And Avondale floral display and show gardens.
