Borough residents are being advised that there are a number of alternatives for treatment of injuries and other ailments apart from your local A&E department over the busy festive period.
A GP out of hours service offering advice and access to a doctor if your GP practice is closed (between 6-30 pm and 8-00 pm) by calling 0845 145 1800.
Emergency dental treatment (out of hours between 7-30 pm and 9-30 pm or on Saturdays and Sundays and Bank Holidays) can call 01384 411600.
To find your nearest pharmacists or chemists call the Family Health Services on 01384 366017 or go to www.dudley.nhs.uk
Call NHS Direct for medical advice over the phone by calling 0845 46 47.
People are urged to consider using the alternative services before going straight to A&E.
