Free Bus Service Axed

The free shuttle bus service which had been introduced to improve acess to the town centre during the ongoing redevelopment works will cease at the end of this month after failing to attract enough passengers.
Vale Retail the owners of the Cornbow Centre , Centro and Dudley Council , project partners in the regeneration program organised and paid for the shuttle bus after complaints from shoppers.
Warnings were issued to shoppers earlier this month that if the service were not used more that it would cease and even with changes to the route it failed to attract more passengers and is no longer viable to keep running.
