WATERSIDE DISCOUNT HOLIDAYS FOR VETERANS DURING ‘ARMED FORCES’ WEEK

Weymouth-based Waterside Holiday Group, which includes Waterside Holiday Park & Spa, Chesil Vista Holiday Park and Osmington Holiday Park, has pledged to offer discounted holidays to veterans during this year's national Armed Forces celebrations, which will take place from 23-29 June 2012.

Veterans can benefit from a £100 discount on the price of a week-long holiday, at any of the Group's three holiday parks, for those arriving on Saturday 23 June*. Holidays during that week are usually priced from £365 for accommodation for up to six people.
All three holiday parks are located near the centre, or in close proximity to, the bustling seaside of Weymouth where all the festivities will take place. The Group's holiday accommodation is modern, stylish and has been awarded national accolades for high levels of accommodation quality and cleanliness. A large number of the holiday homes offer stunning sea views.
The 2012 Weymouth and Portland Armed Forces Day Celebrations will be held from Saturday 23rd until Friday 29th June 2012; with the Service of Remembrance and Parade on Sunday 24th June 2012. As one of Britain's largest Veteran's festivals, a full programme of events is planned including a historic military vehicle display, Veterans parade, band performances, photographic displays and war re-enactment events. All events are free of charge and people of all ages are welcome to attend.
The awareness week is held in recognition of the major contributions of veterans to the country. It provides a focus on the work carried out by Veteran Associations, individuals and today's Military Forces.
