A46 Alcester to Stratford
From 28 August 2007, between Shottery Island near Stratford upon Avon and A46 / A435 junction at Billesley, Alcester - temporary vehicle impact protection barriers will be installed along the kerb line of the westbound carriageway with lanes restricted in width.
THE A46 WILL THEN BE CLOSED AGAIN FOR THE WHOLE WEEKEND FROM 9.00PM ON FRIDAY 12 OCTOBER 2007 THROUGH TO 6.00AM ON MONDAY 15 OCTOBER 2007.
VEHICLES OVER 2.0M (6'6") IN WIDTH ARE BANNED FROM TRAVELLING THROUGH THIS SECTION.
A SIGNED DIVERSION ROUTE IS CLEARLY SIGNPOSTED.
A 40MPH SPEED RESTRICTION AND OVERTAKING BAN IS IN PLACE.
A49 (Church Stretton to Craven Arms)
The A49 carriageway will be closed overnight (except Sundays) from 9.00pm to 6.00am from Monday 17 September 2007 to Sunday 21 October 2007 for major maintenance scheme. Works will include resurfacing the carriageway, renewal of road studs and markings, some kerbing and drainage work. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M6 Junction 7 (Great Barr)
The southbound exit slip road will be closed overnight from 10.pm to 5.00am from Wednesday 17 October 2007 to Saturday 20 October 2007 for carriageway resurfacing, road marking and installation of traffic sensors. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
