Smuggler’s View Luxury Lodges to be Unveiled at Osmington Holiday Park in Weymouth

Osmington Holiday Park in Weymouth, Dorset, part of the family-owned Waterside Holiday Group, is launching its new ‘Smuggler's View' development, which will comprise of eight luxury lodges. The grand opening event will be held on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 July 2012, 10am until 5pm, and the general public are invited to attend.
The launch event will allow visitors to view the show lodge; a two-bedroom, six berth open plan 40' x 20' Willerby Contemporary. Another seven bases are ready for lodges to be built at Osmington Holiday Park and sizes vary from 34' x 16' to the largest at 55' x 20'.
The lodges are extremely luxurious and have been designed to be a home-from-home, which provides an indication of the size and quality of the accommodation on offer. They feature the latest and best in design, build quality and finish, and are built to order, meaning that the detail of the lodge interior can be tailored to owners' specific requirements and tastes. Owners can choose the integrated branded appliances, the solid wood dining and bedroom furniture and bathroom suites, and select from a range of colour schemes for the interior décor. The lodges are also integrated with the latest innovative technology and an iPhone App that controls some of the core feature of the lodge, such as central heating, ready for your arrival.
Attendees of the free event can also enjoy canapés and champagne in the holiday park's Country Club bar and restaurant before heading to the ‘Smuggler's View' development. Those who attend the event will also be able to make use of the outdoor heated swimming pool, the lounge area and games room.
Osmington Holiday Park is the ideal place to explore the area. It is set within a wooded valley which drops down to the beach, just 200 metres from a shingle beach and rockpools and minutes away from the lively seaside town of Weymouth. The name of the lodge development derives from the site's history of smuggling, dating back to the 18th and 19th centuries.
