  • Council's Christmas Present to City - A Litter-free Leeds!

    Up to 80 officers will be patrolling the city centre and district centres, including Chapel Allerton, as part of a week long "Litter Free Leeds" campaign in the run up to Christmas from Wed 10th - Wed 17th Dec. Dog wardens will also be patrolling parks and beauty spots, including Roundhay Park to ensure dog owners are cleaning up after their pets.

    A 29 year old father was murdered in the early hours this morning on the Beckhill Estate in Meanwood. A second man, aged 31, also believed to be from the area, underwent emergency life-saving surgery.
