Banana and Date Munchies

A yummy healthy snack that kids will enjoy making and eating!
Ingredients:
1 cup of dates
3 small bananas
1/3rd cup of vegetable oil
1 tsp vanilla essence
2 cups oats
- Mash the bananas in a bowl
- Add the chopped dates and oil to the bowl and mix well
- Add the vanilla essence and rolled oats and mix well again
- Leave the mixture to stand for five minutes so that the oats absorb the moisture
- Push into a greased baking tray and bake for approximately 25 mins at 180C (350F)
- Cut into squares whilst still warm
