The Olive Press in Water Lane, Leeds, offers something for everyone with a diverse menu and extensive wine list, whether it be a quick lunch, a relaxing evening meal or a leisurely family lunch.
The restaurant really knows how to look after families. Children under the age of three eat free and there is a specially designed young person's menu on offer for £7.50 which includes a main course (such as pasta tubes with grilled chicken & sweetcorn) a dessert and a soft drink.
Children also have the opportunity to make their own pizza from the Little Olives menu - a great idea to make it a really enjoyable experience for all the family.
Mr Heathcote added: "We know how difficult it can sometimes be going out for a meal with children and this is something which we take seriously. All of our staff are trained to understand the needs of children so we can guarantee that the eating out experience is an enjoyable one for every member of the family."
For adults the menu offers a great choice, from home-made artisan pasta and risotto, to char grilled dishes from the oven (such as char grilled chump of lamb, Mediterranean vegetables & tapenade) to stone baked pizzas - I can thoroughly recommend the char grilled chicken, sweetcorn, mushrooms, mozzarella & garlic butter pizza! There is also a good selection of salads and light dishes including skewered king prawns, scallops, red pepper & lime, courgettes & salsa verde.
The Olive Press was voted the 9th best value restaurant in the UK by The Independent Magazine.
