FRESH SALONS ... a Fresh Approach
Fresh Salons is certainly a fresh addition to the hair salons in North Leeds.
Formerly Omega Hair Studio, Fresh Salons on Harrogate Road offers a relaxing atmosphere where you receive a very warm welcome and having your hair cut is a real experience to enjoy.
Jon, the Director has been in hairdressing for 13 years having trained at Vidal Sassoons and is passionate about cutting hair and it really shines through in everything he does. Indeed all of the salon staff have worked at Vidal Sassoons.
I was impressed from start to finish with my visit there. The atmosphere was very calm and relaxed and I felt in no rush as we spent a good while chatting about what I did and didn't want from my haircut. Having had over 10 hairdressers in the last 5 years I was really hoping to find one that I would be happy enough to stay with this time!

What impressed me most was how he explained throughout the cut how important it was to create a hairstyle that was all about the cut and not about the blow dry at the end. Seems common sense, but how many times have you left a hair salon really impressed with your style only to find the next day when you wash and dry it you can't get it to look anything like it had the day before!! Infact this is so important at Fresh Salons that they won't just do blow drys for clients that haven't had their hair cut there. They want people to be happy with their hair not only on the day it is cut, but every day after until the next cut is due. They also offer free fringe trims/tidy-ups inbetween appointments.
Once my hair had been cut, there was no masses of mousses and sprays applied- just a simple liquid silk solution to condition and protect the hair from the heat.
I left the Salon a very happy customer - and three days on.....?? Still delighted with my cut - it only takes me a few minutes each morning and my hair still looks like it did three days ago!
