A. Andrews & Sons (Marbles & Tiles) Ltd was founded in 1886 and became a limited company in 1936. Specialising in hard wall and floor coverings the company has worked on many of the UK's most prestigious developments including the recently opened Frenchgate Centre in Doncaster, Wigan Grand Arcade and the restoration works at The Royal Hall in Harrogate. The companies head office is in Leeds with a regional office in Glasgow covering works in Scotland.
The company undertakes works in stone, granite, marble, ceramic, terrazzo, mosaics including cladding works and is subsequently split into three main contracting divisions these being ceramic, marble/stone and terrazzo. We also have manufacturing facilities on site producing high quality products such as staircases, bar tops, skirtings, column bases, shower cubicles, petrol pump bases etc.
In addition to this the company has an on site showroom selling tiles, sanitary ware, kitchens, work tops (made to order), fireplaces etc to both the trade and public. A wide range of products can be ordered online
Our contracting side undertake works in hospitals, universities/schools, shopping malls, supermarkets, theatres, cinemas, banks, sports facilities including swimming pools etc and also has maintenance contracts for the repair and restoration of existing floors.
We work closely with architects putting together specifications and both our management team and workforce are second to none with regard to their commitment, knowledge and expertise.
