Below are the results from the residents in the Chapel Allerton Ward that came to the Make Your Ideas Count meeting on 12th March at the Technorth Centre, Chapel Allerton.
Everyone was given monopoly money and asked to prioritise where they would spend it within the community. The money was divided as follows:
Community £8,135 (13.7%)
Environment £13,735 (23.1%)
Regeneration £7,650 (12.9%)
Community safety £14,480 (24.4%)
Children & Young People £7,575 (12.8%)
Health & Wellbeing £7,795 (13.1%)
The amount of money spent, along with all the issues raised at the event will be used to help develop the Area Delivery Plan for next year. This plan outlines actions to be carried out to improve your area.
The next event will be in the summer which will provide more information on how the Committee's Well Being Fund will be used to tackle these priorities.
The concerns raised at the event will also be referred onto the relevant council department to be tackled. More info can be found about the different council service providers via the website www.leeds.gov.uk and clicking in the A-Z of council services search box on the welcome page.
