Hen has a Night to Remember!

Abi Larter of Chapel Allerton and her friend Sharon Adair were in charge of organising the hen do for their good friend Joelle Monfrinoli. Having dismissed several ideas including hiring limos, fire engines, can-can dancing, making a pop video; they decided they needed something more original.
They agreed on the rock n roll theme and so felt it would be fitting for the "hen" to arrive on a motorcycle. "We didn't know where to start to look for someone who would be up for picking her up" said Abi, "we probably would have happily settled for a pootle along on the back of a moped at this stage! However, we'd spotted the Harley garage on Kirkstall Road so we thought it might be a good place to start."
The Harley Garage were very receptive to the idea and even suggested that it would be even more impressive if everyone at the hen do arrived on bikes. So they managed to gather a team of 15 to drive all of them into the centre of Leeds in convoy!
Joelle, the bride-to-be was absolutely delighted at her suprise, and burst into tears saying "never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined we'd be doing this!"
"It was an amazing experience," said Abi, "going through the tunnels round the ring road with the roar of the engines all around us."
To complete the "look" all of the hens wore matching bolero-type tops with "Jo -Hells Angels" printed on the back, done by The Sewing Shop in Leeds market.
