Wish someone a Merry Christmas with a candle this year!
Candles are for ever, not just for Christmas

Candles are the perfect way to create a festive warm and inviting atmosphere, particularly at Christmas time. There are many top quality and wonderfully fragranced candles to choose from including organic plant based candles such as Juniper & Pine; Orange, Clove & Cinnamon and Mulled Pear & Spices. In addition to the traditional candles you might like to try some other exciting scents such as Tomato & Blackcurrant and Pomegranate & Mint.

This year why not give the gift of Christmas to someone you care about in the form of a candle(s).

In addition to room design packages and design consultations, Room in a boxx sells a range of individual candles, the majority of which are manufactured from a natural plant source, which is sustainable and sympathetic to your environment. Organic candles are not produced from petroleum based paraffin wax, beeswax or animal based products. Candles are naturally coloured and slightly scented with either essential or fragrance oils and contain no petroleum based dyes or fragrances. The majority of organic candles are beautifully presented in glass containers.

A brand of candles which should not be overlooked, are Price's Patent Candles Ltd, who began making candles in 1830 and produce candles for Her Majesty the Queen, which is a reflection of the standard of Prices candles.
Room in a boxx are happy to be able to offer customers a selected range of Prices candle lanterns, Time To Be Sexy; with extracts of Jasmine, Vanilla & Patchouli; Time For Fun; with extracts of Lemon, Cardamom & Orange; Time For Nature; with extracts of Orange, Pine Sap & Cedar; Time For You; with extracts of Lemon Zest, Lavender & Tea. Lantern's have approximate average burn times of up to 60 hours under average conditions.

Why give a candle?

Here are just a few of the many benefits of candles:

• Candles are decorative and are excellent for setting the mood within a space
• Candles are considered festive, particularly around Christmas time
• Scented candles with essential and fragrance oil are believed to aid wellbeing, particularly essential oils
• Candles can be used as an alternative source of or in addition to traditional lighting
• Candles can be significant as a tool in memorial ceremonies

Remember candles can be used daily around the home. Here are just a few examples of how and where they can be used.

Living Room

The living room is one of the main places where many of us like to unwind and what better way to relax than whilst burning one candle or several different scented candles. This is a great way to create a relaxing atmosphere.

Candles for the bedroom & bathroom to promote ambience & tranquility

Although many of us burn candles in the living room and also within the kitchen, one of the most relaxing ways to enjoy candles are in the bath and in the bedroom and there are a good selection of scented candles to choose from. As there are always birthdays and with Christmas being imminently upon us, scented candles for both the bedroom and bathroom make excellent gifts for friends and family.

Why give a Room in a boxx candle?

Room in a boxx candles are carefully sourced to offer (Riab) customers a range of high quality, clean burning candles, which are not all found on the high street. Because Room in a boxx are always looking for new and exciting products to offer customers, this means you're guaranteed to get something special.

It's all in the packaging!

So you've done the hardest part and have successfully selected your Room in a boxx scented organic candle, with some help from Room in a boxx, now all you have to do is to package your candle gift carefully.

As your gift is a reflection of your relationship to the person you are giving the gift to it's as equally important to make time to wrap/present your gift(s) well.

As it's the spirit of Christmas, try using materials from nature to add that extra touch of luxury to your gift. Placing scented glass filled candles into a container with sprigs of holy or bulbs or decorated moss is an additional way of making your gift more unique, whilst also being useful as a table centre piece during the festive season or an additional gift in the case of a bulb filled container.

If you have many gifts to wrap, colour coding your gifts helps to make the process of remembering who they are for easier and much more fun.

You can also make gift tags from oddments of recycled cards or card and personalise with a stamp or simply write a message. Use a hole punch to make a hole in your gift tag and use a selection of materials such spare bright shoe laces, ribbon, twine, wool etc for the string detail. Additional materials such as oddments of wallpaper, newspaper and magazines with some nice bright ribbon can make your gift stylish and contemporary. If you're feeling particularly adventurous you can also select images that reflect the gift or person.

Recyclable boxes can also be utilised to package your gift and can be embellished from a number of household items such as buttons etc. Organza bags whilst not necessarily found around the house, can equally add an extra special finishing touch to your candle gift. (Always ensure that your packaging is age appropriate).
