Buy One Get One Free!

BUY ONE LEEDS DAY OUT GET ANOTHER ONE FREE IN MAY!

It's a buy one get one free offer with a difference... you can purchase a slice of Leeds' unique culture and get another in return!

Throughout the month of May, anyone buying a ticket for one of the city's key paid-for museums attractions will get the chance to try out another totally free.

The sites cater to a wide variety of different interests, so visitors could spend one day at a watermill or ancient abbey museum and another at a rare breeds farm or the country seat of some of Leeds' most prominent historical families.

Participating venues are Abbey House Museum in Kirkstall, Leeds Industrial Museum at Armley Mills, Lotherton Hall at Aberford, Temple Newsam House or Home Farm at Temple Newsam and Thwaite Mills Watermill Museum, Stourton.

The special offer has been put together to mark national Museums & Galleries Month and will entitle anyone who has bought a ticket to one of these attractions to show the till receipt for free entry to another during May.

Cllr John Procter, executive member for Leisure, said:

"Our excellent museums really do have something for everyone and this is a great opportunity to sample what they offer. Why not use your free ticket to go to one you've never been to before?"

Free entry will be given on a like for like basis- in other words, anyone buying an adult ticket for one attraction can get free adult entry to another; a child's ticket will allow a child in free elsewhere. Please note that at Temple Newsam, the free entry applies to either Temple Newsam House or Home Farm, not both.
