Leeds AmaZones was formed as a girls only football club in May 2000. After 5 years of progress and improving standards both on and off the field the club was accredited with FA Charter Standard Football Club status in September 2005.
The Charter Standard Scheme is a best practice guide that sets standards of coaching, administration and child protection for a club working with young people. It represents a benchmark of quality, and improves the playing experience for all concerned.
Leeds AmaZones are NOW Recruiting for the 2008/09 season. The club would like to offer every girl in Leeds aged 13 & 14 regardless of ability the opportunity to play football in a friendly, fun and safe environment.
The club ensures that All of our Coaches are CRB Checked. We are affiliated to the West Riding County Football Association and play our football in the West Riding Girls Football League.
Training for our under 15's squad takes place on Wednesday nights and all our home matches are played on Sundays
So if you are interested in playing girls football for the first time. Or can't get a regular place in the team you currently registered with. Or you wish to be part of a club that offers to put you as a player, first before all other considerations then please call contact the club NOW. Don't delay the new season is only a few weeks away.
