The St. Gemma's Great Yorkshire Book Sale
Date: 17th June 2012
Time: 10am until 4pm
Place: St Gemma's Hospice, Moortown, Leeds
Don't miss this "novel" event for all ages. There are thousands of books on sale at bargain prices including collector's books; a children's corner with story-telling; literary stalls; cakes and refreshments and lots more. Also, watch this space for a special book signing.
Entry by donation on the door, or bring a bag of unwanted goods to donate to our shops and you can get in free! Good quality books are still wanted, specifically collectables, teen fiction and children's books. If you are interested in having a stall of your own on the day to promote your literary organisation or business, you can reserve one for just £25.
The winners of the Poetree and Short Story Competitions will be announced at the Book Sale. The Poetree Competition theme is the "St. Gemma's Tree" and is open to all children of primary school age in the Leeds area. The Short Story Competition's theme is "The Diamond Jubilee" and is open to children and adults over the age of 11 years.
It is not too late to enter, as long as we have your entry by 11th June. Pick up details from the Hospice reception, on our website here or follow us on Twitter @yorksbooksale
