Election results announced

Ernie Clark (Independent) Has been elected the member for Holt and Paxcroft division and Peter Fuller (Conservative) has been elected as the member for Trowbridge East following yesterday's election (Thursday, February 7).
The full results for the Holt and Paxcroft division were:
Mr Trevor Carbin ( Liberal democrat) 994
Mr Ernie Clark (Independent) 1075
Hilary Millichamp (Green) 45
Mr Andy Milton (Conservative) 458
Louise Smith (Labour) 53
The turn out was 37 per cent
The full results for the Trowbridge East division were:
Peter Fuller (Conservative) 1363
Tom James (Liberal democrat) 1176
David McQueen (Green) 229
The turn out was 19.2 per cent
This means the overall make up of the county council is now 30 Conservative members, 14 Liberal Democrat members, 3 Labour members and 2 Independent members.
