On Thursday 9th July at 7.30pm, Minehead Police station will be hosting a social evening for people who have retired from the Police service

Light music will be performed by "PEACHES AND CREAM", who are John Wichard, Duncan MacDonald and Beckie Hutt; three very talented students from the west Somerset community College.
The event is open to all persons, who have retired from any Police Force, having been a Police Officer, traffic Warden, detention Officer or any type of civilian staff. Officers from other countries, are also invited.
PC Mark Curran, from the Exmoor Safer Stronger Neighbourhood Policing team is arranging the event and says, "Since I came to the area last July, I have met simply loads of people, who have retired from the Police service, in some way or other. I was walking around Dunster Marsh some time ago and met a retired colleague from the Metropolitan Police who told me a few tales about the old days. I thought it would be great to get some of these people together, so we can all compare stories and just have a good chat."
Apart from Peaches & Cream, a licensed bar is available, along with light refreshments.
PC Curran would like to hear from you, if you would like to attend, so an idea of attendance numbers can be assessed.
For further information, please contact PC CURRAN at Minehead Police Station, either by phone on 0845 4567000 or email, mark.curran@avonandsomerset.police.uk
