The South West's 100 most exciting companies have provided inspirational ideas to help local businesses prosper and grow in 2010. This is part of a pioneering campaign by the South West RDA and Business Link, launched last month.

Each of the 100 businesses displays the type of drive, passion and innovative approach that has enabled them to go head-to-head with their market leaders and succeed despite fierce competition.
These powerful and motivational ideas are being shared through the 100 South West Business Challengers campaign.
The campaign is being supported by Northcliffe Publishing and the BBC across the South West.
With trading conditions this year likely to remain challenging, local businesses will need to outthink their competitors - and these 100 South West Business Challengers will show how.
The campaign gives no-nonsense advice, delivered in easy-to-understand language with tips on essential topics from marketing to innovation, skills and finance.
Business Link, as the independent gateway to business support across the South West, is committed to helping small and medium-sized firms through the current challenging economic conditions.
Business Link's advisers will be analysing these lessons and providing practical advice which owner-managers can use to develop and grow their businesses.
The 100 South West Business Challengers campaign will run for 100 working days until Friday, 11 June. Each day a new Challenger profile will be uploaded onto the Business Link website and Northcliffe's South West Business site .
South West RDA chief executive Jane Henderson said: "The South West has a strong track record of enterprise, creativity and innovation. The 100 companies profiled as part of this campaign are excellent examples of how, by putting these into practice, small businesses can successfully challenge the market leaders."
