  • They will be giving out information on Fairtrade on our plans to make Malmesbury a Fairtrade town.
  • They will have a Trade Craft Fairtrade stand with a range of Fairtrade products for sale.
  • They will be promoting the showing of "Black Gold", the movie about the unfair world coffee business. The Town crier will attend to promote Fair trade with his bell.

Fairtrade has improved the lives of millions of people - farmers, workers and their families - in developing countries. The Fairtrade mark helps to guarantee that disadvantaged producers in the developing world are getting a better deal. But, we need to keep promoting Fairtrade to ensure people know that buying Fairtrade products can make a positive difference.

Come to the farmers market and stock of on fresh and local produce. The market runs from 9am to 1pm in the Market Cross and is on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month.
