Devon golf tournament to raise money for charity

A Devon charity will be holding a golfing tournament over the summer, to help raise money for a good cause.

July 6th will see the fifth annual corporate golf tournament hosted at the Dawlish Warren Golf Club.

Last year's event raised more than £4,000 for the Devon Wildlife Trust (DWT) – a conservation charity - and it is hoped that this year will bring similar success.

Corporate relations officer at the charity Tracy Ebbrell told Community Newswire: "I can't believe this is the fifth year, it has been such a success over the past few years and this time we hope we will raise even more money with our new drinks tent.

"It is such a great way to network, have fun, meet new businesses and especially thank our corporate supporters."

Ms Ebbrell added that she hoped the tournament would continue for "many years to come".
