The Falling Stone at Thwing
February 27th 2010: We are pleased to announce that following this appeal, someone has now come forward who is willing to run the pub
The community of Thwing, a small rural village in the northern sector of the East Yorkshire Wolds are desperate not to lose another of their local businesses and amenities.
The owners of "The Falling Stone" in Thwing are appealing for any young and enthusiastic Chef or Restaurateur to come forward and keep the premises open.
"We have a village pub for rent or for sale", the owners explained, "There are no ties and we are not looking for large leases. We simply do not want the village to lose another business and we need more fine dining places in this area". "We have a lovely restaurant that seats 45 people, a bar area that seats a further 20 and there's a Public Bar as well. It would certainly suit a young and enthusiastic Chef!"
