Appeal For Witnesses
Police are investigating a burglary that took place at a mid terraced house on Ferndale Terrace in Bridlington.
The offence happened some time between 2030hrs on Sunday 08 July and 0330hrs today (Tuesday 09 July).
The offender entered the address via a closed but insecure sash window and once inside searched through drawers before leaving empty handed.
Police would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and heard or saw anything suspicious.
Anyone with information should contact Humberside Police on the non emergency number 101 referring to log 65 of 09 July or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
Householders are encouraged to assess the security of their homes and fit locks to all windows and doors to reduce the risk of falling victim to burglars.
