New Attractions at Broxbourne Community Open Day 2012

Youngsters enjoying last year's Open Day 

Broxbourne Community Open Day will take place on Saturday 7th July 2012 at the Borough Offices in Churchgate, Cheshunt.

The annual event will showcase the wealth of local organisations in Broxbourne and the surrounding area. Over 70 local clubs, societies, charities and organisations will be attending. This year's event will feature a number of new attractions including a bucking bronco, a bungee run, a gladiator duel and sumo suits. The event will also host Herts Waste Aware Partnership's ‘Black Box Cinema' and live performances from groups including East Herts Operatic Society, Step 2 Step Dance Academy, and Cheshunt Dramatic Society.

Other confirmed attendees include Sustrans who will be promoting cycle routes through the Borough, Cheshunt Horticultural Society who will be hosting their annual Summer Show at the event, and Paradise Wildlife Park who will be bringing animals to the event.
