Councillor Chris Lofts presented a cheque for £250 to Towcester’s Tiny Tows Pre-school
Councillor Chris Lofts presented a cheque for £250 to Towcester’s Tiny Tows Pre-school to help fund much needed outside play equipment. Tiny Tows runs alongside Towcester C of E Primary School on Islington Road and provides a safe and educational environment for children between 2 and 5 years.
‘I was very pleased to be asked to contribute to new play equipment for Tiny Tows.’ Explained Cllr Chris Lofts. ‘This is just the sort of thing my Empowering Councillor fund from Northamptonshire County Council should be used for. In cash terms the grant is small, but it will make a huge difference to a much loved community project.’
Vivienne Cowley, Adminstrator for Tiny Tows added, ‘Tiny Tows already have a good selection of outdoor play equipment but some of it is getting old and needs replacing. Our children love free flow outside play and will be thrilled to have new challenges to stretch their imaginations.’
The new equipment will be installed and ready for the new term in September.
Tiny Tows care for 45 children Monday to Friday during school term times. More information can be obtained by telephoning 01327 354815.
