Red Bull do it again in F1 British Grand Prix practice at Silverstone, with Vettel and Webber at the top of the board posting the fastest times.
However it was not without incident with Vettel on another fast lap suddenly coming off the track after the nose cone of his F1 car fell forward very close to the end of the last practice before qualifying , the incident happened as Vettel ran wide at Abbey, he was lucky that there was plenty of run off and that it was not more serious.
Lewis Hamilton qualified seventh and reigning world champion Button at 12.
Nico Rosberg was the fastest of the local teams with fourth fastest for Mercedes GP with Schumacher coming in behind Hamilton in eighth.
Silverstone is playing host to record crowds and the weather is ideal. Celebrities and HRH Prince Andrew are at the circuit today.
Bumps on the track are causing some confidence issues with drivers that need to resolved before qualifying this afternoon.
