The classic car owned by a Moseley councillor has landed a starring role in a pop video.
His MG roadster is shown arriving at Highbury Hall in the video by local film producer Scott Johnston.
"I was approached by a friend who said the local band Pram needed an Avengers-style car to appear in their latest video," says Lib-Dem councillor Ernie Hendricks.
The filming over three to four days took in Highbury Hall, Moseley Ice House and the Private Park.
Ernie describes the black and white movie as a tribute to a bygone age and says he was really pleased with the results. The 45 year-old car is still his pride and joy.
He has owned MGs since he was a teenager and bought the latest just two years ago.
"You don't see many of them around any more, so I'm proud to own part of the motoring heritage of the city, " he says.
